I’m really optimistic that we can find ways to support local people, especially families during this Covid-19 era and that by fundraising we can keep this support low cost or free.

I love living in Teignmouth and the sense of community that exists. As someone who grew up in a rather flat, landlocked Surrey, I never tire of the incredible scenery here.

Orla is a born and bred North Londoner who decided to try country living, with her husband Murray, and moved to Devon. Since then they’ve not looked back growing a substantial allotment and Murray has become an ultra runner. Not to be outdone Orla is now a regular runner, cyclist, dog walker and occasional yogini. Orla has a passion for community development and maximising the resources in and around us as well as building strong community connections.

Jo is a Berkshire lass, who has worked her entire life in an office within the corporate arena. In 2013, she made the decision to relocate the family to Teignmouth, to a cleaner, fresher environment and where the outdoor opportunities are in abundance. Jo is a keen keep fit enthusiast, who has completed many 10k races and a half marathon, cycled the trails and towpaths of the Kennet & Avon canal, and attended weekly Zumba classes.

Gayle is an experienced NHS clinician and mother of 3.  Gayle is really interested in promoting wellbeing in the early days of life and enjoys the work we have started to do in this area.  Gayle also enjoys the great outdoors and living by the sea.
